The Neckline Slimer (as in slime) is a total ripoff and cost me over $60 because they sent two and added on face creams and double postage. Nowonder they can sell it for $19.99 when they can get by with fraudulent practices. Where are our laws???? You write to Attorney Generals in New York and Wiscon and until they see a pile of complaints they do nothing. We obviously need MORE government, not less to stop corporate crooks from getting away with robbery. Even so, it would be worth $60 and a lot more if it actually did work, but the only muscles it affects are the ones in the BACK of your neck, not the front which needs it

I don't know if this product actually works or not because when ordering the very misleading automated system ordered 2 when I only wanted 1. It also added the $7.95 cream two times that I didn't even want. Immediately calling customer service they tell you to call back first thing in the morning and they can adjust your order; there isn't anything they can do now. When calling back first thing in the morning to adjust order, "what do you know"...the order already went through! At this point I am rufusing the package when it arrives because I am not paying to ship it back. Low and behold they conveniently received it back after the 30 day return period...so then you have to speak to a supervisor who then can process the refund...however you are only "granted" about half of what you were originally charged due to the cream, and the processing fees and the shipping charges! $34.98 refunded of $60 something charged! I will be disputing the charge and will never know if the neckslimmer works or not!

I have now been using the neckline slimmer,for a full 8 wks, and have not seen any noticeable results. I have taken pictures, asked my husband and Mom, and both notice no improvements. I have been using it faithfully, twice a day, sometimes more, all the reps. I am 51, 5'6, and 135 lbs. Sorry but the results were none for me.

I'm concerned because I have a silicone chin implant that's 15 years old. I got it when I was 30 years old because I was a very in shape (not professional) weight lifter. I still had a double chin BECAUSE I have an overbite. Even now, feeling my throat, I don't have fat there... but I do have actual throat there, nodes etc. I cannot see how this would work because what I really need is a lower/longer jaw. However, I will buy it because it's not that expensive and not that much trouble to do the exercise. If I get results great, if I don't, oh well.

I just got this thing last night and did the prescribed exercizes. Judging from the soreness in my neck today I believe the thing DID give my neck muscles a good workout. The key, it seems, is to HOLD each repetition at maximum compression for two seconds (just like it says in the instructiosn) to get the desired result.

Since I haven't had the device long enough to make a difference to my double chin, I'll keep at this diligently for a couple of months and come back and share my results. The potential for improvement is definitely there, IMHO :)

I remember thinking all those people who seriously work out with weights and do crunches, etc., etc. all have such great chin lines. And eventually it occurred to me that it was because they are actually putting their neck muscles to use ALL THE TIME when they work out. So I bought one of these because it's the same idea without having to lift weights like it was a profession! lol And if I need a stronger coil...well, there's always a repair guy or mechanic somewhere who has coils sitting around...no reason I can't try them too. ;-)

Okay, I just ordered this thing and the reason I believe it will work is because I've seen all the muscle men and women and NOT ONE OF THEM has a double chin. I came to the conclusion that it was because of all the straining they do while lifting and doing crunches and stuff that makes them really USE those neck muscles and that's why they all have beautiful chin lines. So this product makes total sense to me. Now can't wait to get it! And I'll find somewhere to buy coils that are stronger...maybe something from some mechanic's workbench. lol

I bought my Neck Slimmer and it came with a handy zip pouch, 3 tension coils and instruction. There are 2 different exercises you can do, one is for the neck the other for the jawline and cheek area. I do 3 reps of 10 for each area 3 times a day. I noticed after the 3rd day I was no longer having problems with teeth clenching which I usually have regularly not only at night but also throughout the day. This beneficial effect is immeasurable to me as the clenching caused headaches, stiff neck and stiffness and pain in my face. I can feel the muscles working so I have complete faith that it will perform as advertised though I'm sure that to what degree will differ amongst each person. The 1st few days you will notice some bruise like pain under your chin, this will go away after some time. If you still find it bothersome just put a cotton ball or 2 between your chin and the Slimmer. I have read many comments on this product and many of those have asked and requested that the company will come out with additional coils which are even tighter and more challenging and now that I've tried it I see what they mean so PY if you are reading this please consider marketing additional tighter coils, I'll be the 1st in line at the shop :) I hope my comments were helpful.I normally don't buy products like these online, but if they come out with more products like the neckline slimmer - I'll be first in line!

Like PEACE said, this is a product review site. I have fun buying "as seen on tv" products when they hit the stores. This was one that I'd been laughing at/kinda actually considering for a couple months. Its just obnoxious to come online to look at review sites and see people crying about customer service/shipping/cost issues. I've been trying it for a few weeks and am getting results (by the way, I am 5ft 7, 145 lbs... smaller frame, but have a double chin no matter what the scale says). The visible changes that have happened are not miraculous, but even the feeling of tightness under there makes me feel a lot better about how I look. Honestly, I'll admit that that may be half of the problem here-- self esteem. At the end of the day, it may sound stupid that people are looking to a piece of plastic and a metal spring to make themselves feel better... but there are far more dangerous and destructive ways that people go about gaining self esteem. If this does the trick for people, GO FOR IT :) ----- It does squeak from time to time but its really not that bad.

Hello Aaron. I too am interested in this product and whether or not it will work. My hubby is a doctor and says the muscles can be strengthened with resistance exercises; but if one has quite a bit of fat there, the results will not be as visible. Adding a sensible diet (I eat in the zone - by Dr. Barry Sears) and cardio exercise (at least times a week - which will burn off excess fat from everywhere on the body) is the key to looking and feeling better. I am going to try using a 4-5 inch ball as an earlier post suggested and I will post my results with photos in two months.

Wow. Some of you have real issues. I don’t really care if you believe what I am saying or not but it gadget will make a small difference. Doctors and "experts" are forever making broad, sweeping statements that turn out to be WRONG in the long run, like when they proclaimed that “smoking is good for your health”, and “breastfeeding is bad”, oh and “you must have your tonsils removed”. Yeah, they know everything!!! If you strengthen the muscles in a specific region, it can tighten the area and improve appearance. That's why women do pectoral exercises to raise their boobs. That's not spot reducing fat, its tightening the muscle under the fat that raises them. I know its very uncommon in this world, but try to think for yourself and not get swayed by peoples "facts".

I am getting married in 6 months, and would obviously love to not have a double chin. I am 5'5 and 105 pounds and have a terrible double chin. I already had lipo to try and fix the problem, and no luck. I've also tried the various excercises on my own with no success. It's worth the $20 to me, but I will probably wait til you can buy it in the store. I just hate how if you only see a pic of my face I look obese, when I am actually quite thin!!!!

You can also do the reverse exercise that will tighten the jaw muscles. Open the mouth slightly and roll the lower lip over your bottom teeth. Place the index over your chin for resistance. Open and close your jaw slowly, as in a scooping motion, pushing your chin up and up as you scoop. Keep doing this until you feel a slight burn in your jawline. At this point hold while you're counting to 20; the chin should be facing up towards the ceiling. Relax and repeat 3 times.

This gets rid of the jawl sag and should complement the double chin exercise really well.

Just to add my 2 cents... I got good results with a "lean it anywhere" cat scratching pad which I bought in Walmart. BTW, this is no joke. I live in Canada, and the Neckline Slimmer is not yet available here. But I liked the idea and got a substitute that works for me.

The scratching pad is a flattened cylinder with an ellipsoidal cros-section, quite elastic, and when pushed down, bounces back. The sides have more bounce (that's the area that I'm using), while the middle is quite rigid. The cover is rough carpet, but can be covered with a piece of cloth before placing your chin on it. It has two solid rubber grips on the side that can be used for holding.

Sit with your back straight and hold the scratching pad with both hands at chin level. I usually hold it slightly inclined (sloping down outwards from the chin) in order to fit the natural chin profile. Push your chin down about 10 times X 3. You can smile while doing this for added benefit. You can also keep your jaw open while pushing down. This way the workout extends to the jaw and and cheekbone.

That's what I noticed so far: after two weeks of practice (once or twice a day) the neck is firmer, the slight jowl sag disappeared and the area under the chin is uplifted and firmer. My cheeks also look firmer, especially the area around my mouth.

So that's to say that resistance training does work. It's not a quick fix and it requires a lot of determination, but it builds your looks from inside, with no risks, no scarring and virtually no money.

PS. Compared with the neckline slimmer, my scratching pad is quite unsophisticated and will not let you adjust the level of resistance, but at least it doesn't squeak. And the cat still gets to use it when I'm not:-)
